Help for Headaches

I actually went in to see the chiropractor for a stiff back.  Dr. Sam and I were discussing the medication I was taking and I mentioned Migraine pills.  I had been having headaches 3-4 times per week with an average of 1-2 of those headaches being really severe.  I had been having these problems for a couple of years.  A local doctor had prescribed 2 different meds that I took at the onset of the headaches.  Dr. Sam discussed in detail the characteristics that lead to headaches or migraines - with food allergies leading the way.  We discussed that diet soda could be causing my problems.  Aspartame is a main ingredient in diet soda and after laying off diet soda for a couple of weeks the frequency of my headaches declined, to the count of maybe 1-2 per week on a bad week.  I really appreciate the time Dr. Yoder took explaining the possible link between food allergies, mainly Aspartame and my headaches.  He really goes above & beyond to find answers to what is actually causing the problem.
